As a team rooted in Japan yet coming from abroad, we share a passion for different aspects of Japanese culture, aesthetics, and the value of craftwork. Japanese tea is the quintessence of it all. Over the past decade, we’ve built close partnerships with exceptional farmers and artisans across the country. Our mission is to present the finest Japanese teas to the world while ensuring that our journey supports local producers and their unique craftsmanship.

DMITRY

Co-Founder, SALES & PRODUCT CURATOR

Dmitry grew up in Japan and holds a degree in Japanese language and history. A lifelong gastronomy enthusiast, he studied Japanese cuisine in Tokyo, became a sake sommelier, and received recognition in the World Sake Competition. His journey into tea culture began over 15 years ago, and for more than a decade he has worked closely with local farmers, deepening his knowledge of tea, farming, and production techniques.

MARINA

Co-Founder, Product curator, Visionary

Marina’s passion for tea began at a young age, working in a specialty tea store while at university. She moved to Japan in 2013 and started her journey into Japanese tea; since then, she has continued exploring and learning about local tea culture, gastronomy, specialty coffee, wellness, and history. In 2015, together with Dmitry, she founded their tea brand, building strong relationships with local farmers to share the best teas with tea lovers worldwide.

GRAPHIC DESIGN, PROJECT MANAGER

Diether is an expert in brand identity with two decades of experience running his creative design company in Amsterdam, collaborating with leading art institutions and cultural organizations across Europe and the US. His broad skill set in graphic design, project management, video, and music production allows the team to pursue bold, creative ideas and offer professional support to our clients in design and brand development.

KOVICH

ART DIRECTOR, PHOTOGRAPHER

Kovich has been passionate about photography since her teenage years. She has learned from renowned photographers who inspired her assisting in shoots and contributing to various creative projects, both behind the camera and in front as a model. Her experience includes working with world-famous photographers, artists, designers, and stylists. With a unique eye for atmosphere and unique photography style, she consistently captures the perfect mood in her work every time.
